Five Ways to Cook with Pineapple Cider Vinegar

Sinar Brew Pineapple Cider Vinegar is not just a wellness tonic — it is one of the most versatile ingredients in your kitchen. Its naturally tropical tang brightens salads, tenderises meats, balances rich sauces, and transforms simple vegetables into something extraordinary.

Here are five of our favourite ways to cook with Sinar Brew Pineapple Cider Vinegar — each one designed to make the most of its unique flavour and functional properties.

1. The Perfect Tropical Salad Dressing

Whisk together 5 capfuls of Sinar Brew PCV with the same amount of extra virgin olive oil. Season with salt, cracked black pepper, and a pinch of cinnamon. Pour over a salad of sweet potato, feta, dried cranberries, basmati rice, and fresh spinach for a vibrant, nutrient-rich meal. For a more complex dressing, add a grated garlic clove, fresh dill, and a spoonful of honey.

2. BBQ Marinade and Baste

Generously brush Sinar Brew Pineapple Cider Vinegar onto meats and vegetables before and during grilling or roasting. The acidity tenderises the meat while the pineapple-derived enzymes (particularly bromelain) help break down proteins, resulting in exceptionally tender, flavourful results. Try it on chicken thighs, pork ribs, or grilled pineapple slices.

3. Sweet and Sour Fish

Fry fresh pineapple chunks until caramelised. Separately, combine generous amounts of Sinar Brew with tomato puree, fresh pineapple juice, palm sugar, and cornflour. Whisk and pour over the caramelised pineapple, simmer briefly, then pour over deep-fried battered fish. The result is a sweet and sour sauce with genuine tropical depth — and a fraction of the sugar of the commercial version.

4. Quick Pickled Vegetables

Chop radishes, cucumber, carrots, and capsicum into matchstick shapes and pack into a clean Mason jar. Warm 100 ml of Sinar Brew with 100 ml of water and a pinch of salt, pour over the vegetables, seal, and allow to cool. Store in the refrigerator for up to one month. Use in salads, as a condiment with cheese and crackers, or as a bright, tangy addition to rice bowls and noodle dishes.

5. Mango Chutney

Simmer 5 capfuls of Sinar Brew PCV with one diced mango, 2 spoonfuls of palm sugar, 2 spoonfuls of honey, star anise, and cinnamon in a pan until reduced and jammy. Cool and transfer to a sterilised jar — it will keep in the refrigerator for up to one month. Serve with cheese and biscuits, Indian samosas, poppadoms, or grilled meats.
